Just returned from a few days in the mountains!
We were unlucky with the snow; mild weather and extremely windy. Therefore, we never got up on the mountain. However, we were busy with other stuff, such as cross country skiing, snowmobiling and wakeboarding on snow. It was a lot of fun, I’m still worn out after being towed by the snowmobile.
We stayed in a cabin that our friend Tobbe’s building himself. It’s already so nice, even though it’s not yet finished. It’s large, open, and well suited for a lot of guests. We were 12 people on New Years Eve plus a few neighbors. During the day we grilled sausages in a small cabin in the forest and played around with the skidoos. In the evening we had a three course dinner at Tobbe’s cabin. Later, the nature invited us at a spectacular show of the Northern Lights! It was amazingly beautiful! Fireworks is nothing compared to this. We were very lucky because the weather was not great any of the days – very cloudy almost every day. But on New Year’s Eve it was star bright and the Northern Lights! Awesome!
Happy New Year everyone!
